This bottle is a head-turner at the campsite. Super minimalist and zero metallic taste. No insulation, so your water's gonna be room temp, but I love how it feels in hand. A bit pricey, but the quality is legit. 5 stars for the design.
Washed it with some soap and water, and zero metallic taste. It's way lighter than I expected-almost feels like it's not even in my pack. Just a heads up, it's titanium, so it's gonna make some noise when you screw the lid on. Solid gear for the trail though.
Dropped this on the deck of my boat and it barely left a mark. No weird metallic or plastic taste in the water either. The cap ring is handy for clipping it to my gear. Just make sure to screw it tight if it's laying sideways.
After cracking my Nalgene on a rock in Yosemite, I'm never going back. This thing is just as light but way tougher. A bit of a "squeaky" lid, but I'll take it over a broken bottle any day.
Just a heads up, it's single-wall, so it's gonna sweat like crazy if you put ice in it.
